Spencer/Nicole pretending to be married!! :D

Spencer is, obviously, used to the ways the portion of the fanbase that either want to have weird sex with him or want him to be having weird sex with at least one of his best friends react to the girlfriends he's actually having weird sex with. He's also used to his girlfriends being okay with his system for minimizing that reaction, which basically boils down to "hide".

He's absolutely not used to Nicole, who refuses to stop checking her replies column, and who he keeps catching muttering things like, "I want to make someone cry today," or, "I can't believe I haven't gotten a death threat yet."

"I think there's something wrong with you," he tells her, but she usually just smirks at him. Dating a Jonas Brother and then Singer gave her some weird-ass coping mechanisms.

Like, apparently, provoking them.

"Nicole," Spencer says, tearing his eyes away from the Tumblr pages Brendon, Zack, and Shane had all linked him to in e-mails, with varying amounts of LOLs as the only text, "did you tell Twitter we got married?"

"No," Nicole says, like that's the stupidest thing she's ever heard. "I left a series of clues in comments to my brother's Instagram pictures, like a treasure hunt for the people dedicated enough to follow my idiot brother."

"You are the worst. Like, the absolute worst."

"Shut up," she says, and launches herself across the couch to tuck against his side. "Now help me convince them Zack officiated."

Spencer opens his mouth to protest, but before he can speak an image pops into his head, Zack red-faced and sputtering in anger every time they turn the horde of teenagers against him. Sometimes Nicole's ideas are actually the best.

"Fine," he says.

She beams up at him, with this glint in her eyes like maybe he just gave in to more of her evil schemes than pissing off Zack.

"And then we get to take fake wedding pictures! Ooh, I should get a new dress. And a ring. And we should go shopping. Also, call your sisters and see if they want to participate. And..."

Spencer is probably never, ever going to get used to this.
